Structural Engineer
Job Summary:
DBI, a specialist in reinforced concrete structures, is seeking a highly experienced Structural Reinforced Concrete Engineer to join our team. This position demands deep understanding and extensive experience with reinforced concrete elements, including rebar estimating and shop drawings, and formwork system design.
Responsibilities
Create, revise, and review rebar estimates and shop drawings.
Design and assess formwork systems.
Read and understand US reinforced concrete structural drawings.
Construct Bills of Quantities according to American standards.
Use Revit to create and export Soft Drawing prints.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
Uphold all company and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, etc.).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Structural Reinforced Concrete Engineer or in a similar capacity.
- Extensive experience in the following areas:
- Rebar (including estimating and shop drawings).
- Formwork (including form system design).
- Proficiency in interpreting US reinforced concrete structural drawings.
- Previous experience in creating Bills of Quantities in compliance with US standards.
- Mastery of Revit with ability to generate Shop Drawings.
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and problem-solving acumen.
- Eagerness to continuously acquire and apply new knowledge.
- Proficiency in English is indispensable.
