BIM Revit Engineer
Job Description
The BIM Engineer at DBI-Design Build International Vietnam Company Limited will play a pivotal role in the detailed development, management, and optimization of Computational 3D BIM Models in the company’s key area of focus, reinforced concrete structures.
Responsibilities
Advanced BIM Model Development: Develop and manage data rich 3D BIM Models for reinforced concrete structures. Ensure these models integrate all project structural components.
Project Coordination: Work in tandem with the BIM Coordinator and the project team to ensure a consistent, accurate, and optimized approach to projects involving reinforced concrete structures.
Quality Assurance and Quality Control: Review and validate BIM models and associated documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project and company standards. Also, ensure structural soundness and alignment with building codes and standards.
BIM Standards: Take a leadership role in adhering to and enforcing DBI's company’s standards and best practices are compliant. Assist in the development and refinement of these standards as required.
Mentorship and Training: Act as a mentor to Level 1 BIM Engineers, providing guidance, feedback, and training to develop their skills in BIM and reinforced concrete structures.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in creating reinforced concrete 3D models using Revit Structures.
- Profound comprehension of reinforced concrete structures.
- Understanding of projects in both the USA and KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) is highly preferred.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and a strong aptitude for collaboration.
- A proactive learning mindset and the ability to adapt to new advancements in BIM technology and concrete reinforcement.
